Sculptor Rodin used the Hotel Brion as his residence in the beginning of 1900s, and he subsequently donated his collections of sculptures to the French government and the government turned the hotel to a museum to display his works in 1919.
Hotel Brion was built in 1728, and you could clearly see the age of it by the cracked plaster on the ceiling and walls. However, you could also visualize how grand the hotel was back in the 1700s. The garden and fountain are just peaceful and tranquil.
Some of Rodin’s famous sculptures include The Thinker, The Kiss and The Burghers of Calais. And here they are.
