Galeries LaFayette

After a long long walk at the Louvre yesterday, I was going to take it easy today. Then the hotel front desk told me at 9am that I needed to be out of my room so that they could clean the room today.

I didn't have anything planned today and wasn't sure where I would go. I remember the front desk lady mentioned about some shopping strip; therefore, I put on my jacket, hat, scarf and gloves and headed toward the Metro and was ready for another exploration again.

I was stunned by this department store when I first walked in; not only by its pricey goods, but also by its sophisticated and rich design and colors. I were like a kid walking into a fancy candy store, and there were so many delicious candies that I didn't even know where to start, and I was also afraid that once I blinked my eyes, all these would be gone. There are 6 floors in the department. I was sitting by a cafe on the second floor and appreciating all what I've seen. I decided to take a short video to capture the moment.

Later on, when I talked to my sister Emmy in Taiwan, I then realized this department store is the well known Galeries LaFayette. Duh, what was I thinking??
