Eiffel Tower and Trocadero

It turned out to be a beautiful day today; actually, it is the best weather we’ve got since we arrived in Paris. The sun’s out and it’s dry.

I’d been waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer and dry so that I could go back to the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero. When we visited the Tower after we first arrived in Paris, it was very cold and getting dark, and we didn’t get to walk around much.

This whole area was used for the World Trade Fairs between 1855 and 1937. The Eiffel Tower was unveiled in 1889, soaring to 1000 feet above Paris. Some said the best place to view Eiffel Tower is from Trocadero; therefore, I must go and experience it myself. ☺

I took a 2.5 mile (roughly) walk today, from Trocadero via a bridge to the Tower, through a park to Ecole Militaire. I had to say, it is awesome!! And yes, I took a lot of great photos of the Eiffel Tower today!
